ASTM F851-87 self-rising mechanism returns every Quantum and Forte seat to the upright position the moment a row vacates — certified through 100,000 cycles, with the dual-action drop-impact pad tested another 100,000 cycles across four heights. The aisle clearance never depends on an attendant resetting a row.

The Seatway TP specification is explicit: bolted platform construction is not acceptable. Only welded space-frame qualifies. Floor loading 104 psf (5 kN/m²), maximum deflection 1/200 at design load, horizontal sway 7.5%. The discipline is engineered into the kit, not signed off afterward.

The TP carries the European retractable-seating standard and the North American assembly seating code. EN 12727 Grade 4 strength, BS 5852 Crib 5 fire, BS 476 Class 0/1 deck-board fire option, CE marked. The Canadian compliance path (P.Eng stamp → BCBC 2024 / NBC 2020 §4.1.5) is documented and tender-ready.

Hussey +Camatic spare-parts inventory is intentionally compressed. Fewer SKUs to stock, fewer mismatches to chase. Seat modules, brackets, and beam end caps are designed as a kit of parts — the building’s parts cabinet stays small, the failure modes stay predictable, and the chair line stays serviceable through three procurement cycles of facilities staff.

Every joint in the space frame is welded, delivering 104 psf (5 kN/m²) floor loading at maximum deflection 1/200 at design load. Privacy Policy
TaLedi Distribution is the client-facing brand of TaLedi Enterprise Development Inc. ("TaLedi", "we", "our"). We are the exclusive Hussey Seating dealer for British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. What we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to share it with us, typically by emailing or calling about a project. That usually includes:
- Your name and the organization you represent
- Email address and phone number
- Project details — venue type, location, capacity, timeline, budget posture, drawings or specs you send us
- Procurement context — whether you're an architect, facilities director, board member, procurement officer, contractor, or end-user, plus any decision-maker context you share
We do not run forms on this website. The only way information reaches us is through your own email client, phone, or in-person meeting. We do not buy contact lists or harvest data from third parties.
2. Why we collect it
We use the information you share for three purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry — answer your question, recommend a fit, prepare a quote, or route you to the right resource.
- To prepare and execute a project — produce specifications, drawings, proposals, tender responses, purchase orders, installation coordination, and warranty service.
- To meet our legal and business-record obligations — tax records, project files, warranty registration with the manufacturer.
We do not use your information for marketing automation, behavioural advertising, or profiling. If we want to send you something unsolicited, we ask first.
3. Who we share with
To deliver a Hussey Seating project, we share necessary project information with:
- Hussey Seating Company (Berwick, Maine, USA) — the manufacturer. Hussey receives the technical and commercial information needed to manufacture, ship, and warranty-register your seating.
- CBWs Installations Inc. (our preferred installation partner) — receives site and contact information needed to schedule and perform installation, service, or warranty work.
- Procurement and contracting bodies when you have chosen one — for example, the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada (under contract #081523-HSC) — receives the documentation required to process the award.
- Government authorities or auditors when required by law (Canada Revenue Agency, building officials, court order, regulatory request).
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
4. Cross-border data
Hussey Seating Company is based in the United States. When we work on your project, your project information — including your name, role, and contact details — is shared with Hussey to manufacture and deliver your seating. While in Hussey's possession, that information is subject to United States law and may be accessible to US authorities under US legal processes.
If you have questions or concerns about this, raise them early — there are sometimes ways to limit what is shared, depending on the project.
5. How long we keep it
- Active project files — for the duration of the project plus the full warranty period of the equipment we supplied (typically 10 years on structural understructure, 5 years on seating and decking, with shorter periods on electrical components).
- Financial and tax records — minimum 7 years, per Canada Revenue Agency requirements.
- General correspondence with no active project — up to 3 years from last contact, then deleted on a rolling basis.
You can ask us to delete your information earlier. If we have no ongoing legal, contractual, or warranty obligation to retain it, we will.
6. Your rights
Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Access that information and receive a copy.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent for future use, subject to legal and contractual constraints (for example, we can't delete an executed purchase order).
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC (oipc.bc.ca) if you believe we have mishandled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email scott@taledi.ca with the subject line "Privacy Request." We respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies and website storage
This website uses one piece of local browser storage: your preferred measurement unit display (imperial, metric, or both). It is stored on your device, never sent to us, and contains no personal information. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
We do not use:
- Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking
- Session recording or heatmap tools
If we ever add any of these, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before they run.
8. Security
We store your information on systems we operate, or rent from established Canadian and US service providers (productivity, file storage, and accounting platforms). Access is limited to TaLedi staff who need it to do their job. We use multi-factor authentication on all administrative accounts.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant privacy commissioners as required by law.
9. Children
This website and our services are directed at architects, facility owners, contractors, and procurement professionals — not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Updates to this policy
If we materially change how we handle personal information, we update this policy, change the "Effective" date, and post a brief note on the home page. Older versions are kept on file and available on request.

TaLedi Distribution sells seating that has to work for everyone in the room. Our website should hold itself to the same standard.
Our commitment
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced in the Accessible Canada Act, the BC Accessible British Columbia Act, and most Canadian public-sector procurement requirements.
We do not yet claim full conformance. This statement is honest about where we are and what we're doing.
What we've done so far
- The site uses semantic HTML structure with labelled navigation landmarks, including a
<main>landmark wrapping all page content. - A "Skip to content" link appears as the first focusable element on every page, allowing keyboard and screen-reader users to bypass the navigation.
- All informational images carry descriptive alt text.
- Interactive controls use real
<button>and<select>elements, so they are reachable with the keyboard and announced by screen readers. - The floor-space calculator on the Gym page uses
aria-labelattributes on every input and select so screen readers can announce each control independently of the inline-sentence layout. - The nav logo is reachable with the keyboard (Enter or Space) as well as the mouse.
- The mobile navigation menu traps keyboard focus while open, restores focus to the trigger button on close, and closes when you press Escape.
- Body text and utility text meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast (4.5:1 against the background) — including the neutral grey used for small captions, the brand-accent green used for links and ghost buttons, and white text on green-accent backgrounds.
- All footer links resolve — the Company column links route to direct email subjects, the Hussey Seating link opens the manufacturer's website in a new tab, and the address is presented as a semantic
<address>block. - The site is single-document and works without JavaScript for reading purposes (page content is in the HTML).
- Text resizes cleanly with the browser's built-in zoom, up to 200%.
- Content is structured so it can be read on a phone, tablet, or laptop without horizontal scrolling.
- All measurements are presented imperial-first with metric in parentheses, matching the conventions architects and facilities professionals expect in Canadian practice.
Known limitations
We are aware of, and working on, the following items:
- Decorative gold accent on light backgrounds — used only for non-text accent strokes, hairlines, and dividers. Where the gold appears as text, it sits on dark navy (passes WCAG AAA).
- Third-party tooling pass — we plan to run an automated accessibility scan (Lighthouse, axe-core) in addition to this internal review. If it finds anything we missed, we will publish the fix list here.
We expect to resolve the items above in the next site revision.

Tender and procurement notes
For public-sector tenders requiring an accessibility statement or WCAG compliance declaration: this statement, manufacturer accessibility documentation for any specific Hussey product line, and our commitment letter for the duration of a specific project are available on request. Email Scott with "Accessibility — Tender Documentation" and the project reference.
The seating products themselves (MAXAM, MAXAM+, MXP, Seatway TP, Quattro, the Hussey +Camatic chair line, Metro, CourtSide, and all retractable platforms) ship with accessibility configurations that meet or exceed:
- CSA B651 — Barrier-free design (Canadian)
- BC Building Code §3.8 — Barrier-free design
- ICC A117.1 / ICC 300 — for projects citing International Code Council references
- Companion seating, transfer seating, wheelchair positions, sightline-preservation, and accessible row layouts — engineered per project, not after-the-fact
