Company · Who Backs the Seating

Great seating is only as good as who stands behind it.

Every TaLedi system carries three names: the manufacturer that engineers it, the dealer that specifies and administers it in‑territory, and the Factory-Certified partner that installs and services it on the ground. Here is who each one is — and why the Hussey promise holds from the first discovery meeting through the twentieth-year service visit.

Seating since

1931

A plow maker that became a seating company

Founded in 1835 as the Hussey Plow Company, the firm pivoted to structural steel after an 1895 fire, then designed its first portable bleacher in 1931 — the move into seating. Now the oldest family-owned business in Maine, sixth and seventh generation, still headquartered in North Berwick.

Hussey +Camatic

A modern arena lineup, now in territory

The 2023 Hussey +Camatic partnership added the beam-mount arena chair family behind SoFi Stadium and Wimbledon Centre Court — Quantum, Forte, Evoke, Activa, and Clarity Sport. Quantum and Forte ship today; the rest of the family lands Fall 2026.

Hussey-Patented

Snap-in/out pad system — refresh without removing the chair

Forte seat and back pads release on a patented snap mechanism. Damaged pads — coffee spill, knife graffiti, simple wear — swap in the row without unbolting the chair. Quantum accepts retrofit upholstery on the same body. The bowl never goes dark for an event-cycle refresh.

Capacity uplift

+3%

Hussey +Camatic

One beam, infinite layouts — reconfigure the bowl in a day

Beam-mount geometry mounts every seat module independently of the bracket. A regular-season layout, a club-tier layout, a barrier-free layout, a tour-config layout: same beam, swap modules. Optimised spacing yields up to 1–3% more seats than traditional fixed systems — revenue uplift baked into the engineering.

Install speed vs peers

+38%

Hussey +Camatic

Toggle-locked brackets — up to 38% faster install

The Toggle System mounts seats with a quarter-turn lock per bracket. Install crews complete benched rows up to 38% faster than benchmark install rates for comparable systems — the difference between a one-shift install and a two-shift install on a typical school-board arena retrofit. The same kit makes mid-life chair swap-outs equally fast.

Lifetime greasing

MAXAM & MAXAM+

TaLedi administers locally

Not a 1-800 line in another country. Hussey factory stocks parts; TaLedi delivers in-territory across BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut. A failed wheel is a service call, not a replacement bank.

Serviced in place

4parts

MAXAM & MAXAM+

Field-replaceable, by design

Wheels, interlocks, deck stabilizers, and rails are all field-replaceable. The platform is built to be serviced in place — year five looks like year one.

Beam refresh cycles

0

Hussey +Camatic

The beam outlives the building

Clear-anodized aluminum extrusion plus hot-dip galvanized brackets carry no corrosion penalty — the structural commitment lasts the building. When the seat shells refresh in year fifteen, the beam, the brackets, and the anchors stay. Refresh becomes a chair-line decision, not a structural project.

Hussey +Camatic

Reduced attic stock — fewer SKUs, simpler maintenance

Hussey +Camatic spare-parts inventory is intentionally compressed. Fewer SKUs to stock, fewer mismatches to chase. Seat modules, brackets, and beam end caps are designed as a kit of parts — the building’s parts cabinet stays small, the failure modes stay predictable, and the chair line stays serviceable through three procurement cycles of facilities staff.

Stadium-tier is the floor of the lineup, not the ceiling. Engineering elevated by design.

The details

Specification & compliance

Yes — Hussey Seating is on Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, which a BC public buyer can purchase against directly, removing the open-tender step for qualifying institutions.

MAXAM is independently evaluated under ICC-ES ESR-5033 — the only telescopic bleacher line that carries an evaluation report — with the structural and seismic values your tender references coming straight from it, backed by CWB W47.1 Div 3 welded-fabrication certification (Code HUSSE1).

TaLedi services the platform regionally across BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut — one relationship from specification through the working life of the bleacher, never a redirect to the manufacturer.

Barrier-free wheelchair positions and companion seating are designed to CSA B651 and the applicable BCBC §3.8 articulation, with counts and dispersal taken from BCBC Table 3.8.2.3 and sightline-preserving placement built into the layout rather than added afterward.

Yes — MAXAM+ sits on the same Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC as the rest of the Hussey telescopic line, so a qualifying BC public buyer can purchase direct without an open tender.

MAXAM+ is the heavier-gauge slant-frame built for the extra point loads of beam-mount chair seating — 30–33″ (760–840 mm) row spacing, Deck Lock standard, and the same ICC-ES ESR-5033 evaluation as MAXAM. It is the platform when the bleacher has to match the room.

The full beam-mount menu — Metro, Gallery 3, Quantum, Forte, Club Bench, and Quattro — all ride the one MAXAM+ platform. Quantum and Forte mount as fully retractable seats that telescope with the platform, so a single structural investment scales from gymnasium bench seating to a retractable chair-seated venue.

Yes — barrier-free positions and companion seating are designed to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3 and sightlines preserved in the row layout.

The details

Specification & compliance

Seatway TP is a Hussey Seatway platform, engineered bespoke to each room — it sits outside the Canoe Procurement Group contract, so TaLedi quotes it directly against your section geometry, chair menu, and sightline requirements.

The Seatway range certifies to the applicable North American codes — BCBC / NBC, CSA, and NFPA 102 — with seat and upholstery flame retardancy handled through the EN 1021 route mapped to the Canadian requirement. TaLedi confirms the exact code path against your jurisdiction on every tender.

A single 5-year guarantee on the whole product — seats, decking, and structure alike — parts and labour, with a 3-year carve-out on electrical control equipment (seating fabric per the upholstery manufacturer’s warranty). Kept in force by one biennial service visit every two years, handled regionally by TaLedi across BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut rather than routed back overseas.

Barrier-free positions are designed to CSA B651 and the applicable BCBC §3.8 articulation, with companion seating and sightline-preserving placement engineered into the platform layout from the start.

Yes — MAXAM+ sits on Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC alongside the rest of the Hussey telescopic line, so a qualifying BC public buyer can purchase direct without an open tender.

The full beam-mount menu — Metro, Gallery 3, Quantum, Forte, Club Bench, and Quattro — all ride the one MAXAM+ platform, so a single structural investment scales from bench seating to a chair-seated performing-arts house.

Yes — barrier-free positions and companion seating are designed to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3 and sightlines preserved in the row layout.

The details

Specification & compliance

It depends on the version — Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC is with Hussey Seating Company only. The Gallery 3 shown here is the Hussey Seatway (UK) chair on the Seatway TP platform, so it is not Canoe-eligible — TaLedi quotes it direct from the factory. The US-built Gallery 3 on the MAXAM+ platform is a Hussey Seating Company product and does qualify for Canoe pricing. Anything purchased through Hussey Seatway sits outside the contract.

A fully upholstered chair in three delivery formats on one envelope — retractable, fixed-tier, or flat-floor — with spring-activated tipping fully enclosed to remove the finger-trap gap. The Gallery 3 Extra sibling adds a fully contoured backrest at an 11¾″ (300 mm) minimum row rise.

EN 12727 Grade 4 seating strength with BS 5852 (Sources 0/1/5) and BS EN 1021 upholstery fire performance, and the North American stack — BCBC/NBC, CSA B651, ICC 300, TB 117-2013, and NFPA 102 — certified on request under our Hussey Seatway North American compliance route.

Yes — an aisle-end Transfer Arm supports barrier-free wheelchair transfer to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal taken from BCBC Table 3.8.2.3 and sightlines preserved in the row layout.

Yes — this is the Hussey Seating Company (US) Gallery 3, and on the MAXAM+ platform it sits on Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can purchase direct without an open tender. The Hussey Seatway (UK) Gallery 3 beside it is the Seatway TP build and routes as a direct factory quote.

Same chair language, different factory and platform: the US build is made by Hussey Seating Company and beam-mounts on MAXAM+ (not Seatway TP), which is what puts it on the Canoe contract. It is fully upholstered — steel frame, preformed plywood seat and back, fully contoured upholstery — across six seat-centre widths from 18⅛″ to 22″ (460–560 mm), with spring-activated tipping in a fully enclosed stop mechanism.

The ICC-ES ESR-5033 evaluation via the MAXAM+ platform, NFPA 102 fire rating, California TB 117-2013 upholstery flammability, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 welded-fabrication certification (Code HUSSE1).

Yes — an aisle-end Transfer Arm supports barrier-free wheelchair transfer to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

No — the Club Bench is a Hussey Seatway product, so Canoe contract #081523-HSC (Hussey Seating Company only) does not apply. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote from the Hussey Seatway factory.

The coverage efficiency of a retractable bench with a full-depth backrest carrying an integrated steel protection strip along its top edge — a slim 11¾″ (300 mm) closed envelope with a laminate or veneer fascia most retractable benches don’t offer.

EN 12727 Grade 4 and BS 5852 (Sources 0/1/5), with ICC 300 inherited via the Seatway TP platform and TB 117 / NFPA 102 equivalents certified on request for North American projects.

Yes — a backrest-omit row option provides clearance positions, with barrier-free counts and dispersal to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8 per Table 3.8.2.3.

No — the Space Collection is a Hussey Seatway range, so Canoe contract #081523-HSC (HSC only) does not apply. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote from the Hussey Seatway factory.

Three tiers share one chassis — Max (entry), Lux (mid), and Club (top). Club is the premium tier, with a higher backrest and 1″ (25 mm) thicker M4 foam in both seat and back for the deepest cushion; on Seatway TP the row rise is project-set from 9⅝″ to 22″ (245–560 mm), with an αw 0.55 acoustic baseline.

EN 12727 Grade 4 with a 100,000-cycle tipping endurance, BS 5852 (Sources 0/1/5) and BS EN 1021 on M4 fire-class foam, and TB 117 / NFPA 102 equivalents certified on request.

Yes — an aisle-end Transfer Arm supports barrier-free wheelchair transfer to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

No — Arts is a Hussey Seatway chair, so Canoe contract #081523-HSC (HSC only) does not apply. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote from the Hussey Seatway factory.

Only the backrest folds back, so the contoured seat profile stays intact for comfort — with solid-wood armrests standard, a spring-activated silent-stop tip fully enclosed against finger-traps, and a seat assembly that lifts out in about 30 seconds for service. Available retractable, fixed-tier, or flat-floor.

EN 12727 Grade 4 and BS 5852 (Sources 0/1/5) with BS EN 1021, and TB 117 / NFPA 102 equivalents certified on request for North American projects.

Yes — an aisle-end Transfer Arm supports barrier-free wheelchair transfer to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

No — on the Seatway TP platform Metro is a Hussey Seatway chair, so Canoe contract #081523-HSC (HSC only) does not apply. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote. (The separate HSC Metro that beam-mounts on MAXAM+ is the one that sits on Canoe.)

A fully concealed tipping mechanism — no exposed finger-trap hinge — across three variants: Polymer no-arm at a 17⅞″ (455 mm) seat centre for the tightest density, Polymer with-arm and Upholstered at 19¼″ (490 mm), all folding to a 14¾″ (375 mm) closed envelope.

EN 12727 with BS 5852 (Sources 0/1/5), BS 7176 composite-assembly fire testing, and BS EN 13200-5 for telescopic stands — with TB 117 / NFPA 102 equivalents certified on request.

Yes — an aisle-end Transfer Arm supports barrier-free wheelchair transfer to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

Yes — this is the Hussey Seating Company (US) Metro, and on the MAXAM+ platform it sits on Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can purchase direct without an open tender. The Hussey Seatway (UK) Metro beside it is the Seatway TP build and routes as a direct factory quote.

Same chair language, different factory and platform: the US build is made by Hussey Seating Company and beam-mounts on MAXAM+ (not Seatway TP), which is what puts it on the Canoe contract. Polymer and fully upholstered variants share a fully concealed tipping mechanism with no exposed finger-trap hinge.

The ICC-ES ESR-5033 evaluation via the MAXAM+ platform, NFPA 102 fire rating, California TB 117-2013 upholstery flammability, BIFMA cycle testing, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 welded-fabrication certification (Code HUSSE1).

Yes — barrier-free wheelchair positions with an Easy-Access aisle armrest and companion seating are designed to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

No — the S-200 is a Hussey Seatway family, so Canoe contract #081523-HSC (HSC only) does not apply. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote from the Hussey Seatway factory.

One chair language across five platform formats — Seatway TP retractable, fixed-tier, flat-floor, Rollable, and Logix. The LTR lecture variant’s continuous writing ledge retracts to form the front fascia when closed, and the nose-mount variant folds to a 13⅜″ (340 mm) closed envelope for max density.

EN 12727 with BS 5852 (Sources 0/1/5) on CMHR foam, and BS EN 13200-5 on the platform tier — with TB 117 / NFPA 102 equivalents certified on request.

Yes — an aisle-end Transfer Arm supports barrier-free wheelchair transfer to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

No — the Discovery Bench is a Hussey Seatway product, so Canoe contract #081523-HSC (HSC only) does not apply. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote from the Hussey Seatway factory.

The capacity-maximising, economical sibling — a folding (not full-depth) backrest folding to an 11″ (280 mm) closed envelope, yet holding the same 17¾″ (450 mm) minimum seat centre as Club Bench, so density comes without a width compromise. Camira Era upholstery is standard.

EN 12727 with BS 5852 and BS EN 13200-5 inherited via the Seatway TP platform, and TB 117 / NFPA 102 equivalents certified on request.

Yes — a backrest-omit row option provides clearance positions, with barrier-free counts and dispersal to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8 per Table 3.8.2.3.

No — the Hussey +Camatic beam-mount line sits outside Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so TaLedi supplies Quantum on a direct quote from the factory. First MAXAM+ telescopic shipments are expected mid-2026 and it is quotable now.

One polymer chassis spans fixed bowl and retractable house on the Hussey +Camatic beam mount — installing about 38% faster than bracket systems and recovering 1–3% more seats per row — with three back shapes at a 19″ (483 mm) minimum seat-centre spacing.

EN 12727 Level 4 seating strength, ASTM F851-87 self-rising rated to 100,000 cycles, NFPA 102 fire rating, the ICC-ES ESR-5033 evaluation via its MAXAM+ host platform, California TB 117-2013, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 certification (Code HUSSE1).

Yes — barrier-free positions use a hinged Easy-Access aisle-end armrest with companion seating, designed to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

No — the Hussey +Camatic beam-mount line sits outside Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so TaLedi supplies Forte on a direct quote from the factory. It is quotable now, with first MAXAM+ shipments expected mid-2026.

A fabric-upholstered beam-mount chair on the same infrastructure as Quantum, with a patented snap-in / snap-out cushion system — a worn pad is a two-minute field swap, not a chair change — in two back heights, Standard 36″ (915 mm) or Highback 42″ (1 065 mm).

EN 12727 Level 4 seating strength, ASTM F851-87 self-rising rated to 100,000 cycles, NFPA 102, California TB 117-2013 upholstery flammability, the ICC-ES ESR-5033 evaluation via its MAXAM+ / MXP host platform, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 certification (Code HUSSE1).

Yes — barrier-free positions with an Easy-Access aisle-end armrest and companion seating are designed to CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8, with counts and dispersal per BCBC Table 3.8.2.3.

Built into every Quattro Tap a feature to see how it works.

The details

Specification & compliance

Yes — Quattro Art is a named line on the Hussey Fixed Seating schedule of Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can buy it direct without an open tender. (The Hussey Seatway chairs — Arts, Cervantes, Space — are not on Canoe; those route as a direct factory quote.)

Choose Art when the room’s character matters as much as its function — performing-arts halls, concert halls, and premium worship, where wood end panels, reveal-style backs, and Live Area customization set the tone. Traditional suits heritage retrofits (and carries a panic-proof tablet arm); Modern is the aluminium-stanchion workhorse with the broadest tablet-arm menu; Polymer and Plyform are the school-grade, vandal-resistant options. Because the collection shares one chassis, you can mix — an Art back on a Traditional armrest, say — within a single row. Good to know: Art is the one series without a writing tablet, so a dual-use lecture-and-performance hall pairs it with Traditional or Modern.

Ten back designs unique to the Art Series — five Linear (clean geometric lines) and five Radius (softer curves) — each offered plain or with Top Reveal, Full Reveal, or Integral wood-reveal detailing, in a Low 33″ (840 mm) or High 36″ (910 mm) back. Every wood component — back, seat, armrest, and end panel — carries a defined Live Area: a customization zone for an engraved crest, donor motif, or venue branding, built in as a standard order with no bespoke tooling. Good to know: full-length wood end panels come half-wrapped (the value option) or fully-wrapped with intermediate privacy panels (the heritage look), and Hussey’s signature extended outer back shields the cushion from the row behind — a fully upholstered back holds up without a separate protective panel.

It’s the acoustic flagship of the collection. Independently tested by Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories at an apparent NRC of 1.15 and SAA of 1.18 (occupied chairs, 36″ back-to-back) — the upholstered back and seat absorb sound close to an occupied seat, so the hall tunes the same whether it’s full or half-empty. Paired with the Whisper Quiet spring return (350,000 cycles, no lubrication) or Gravity Fold, the near-silent rise keeps late seating from breaking a performance. Good to know: bring the Riverbank absorption report to your A/V or theatre consultant — it’s the number they’ll ask for, and TaLedi supplies it in the submittal package.

Yes — the Art Series is built for curved rooms: rows follow a radius down to a 50′ (15.24 m) minimum, and a tighter curve gets an engineering review before we quote. It mounts to a level floor or to the riser face of tiered seating, on Traditional Steel stanchions with full-wrap wood end panels framing the aisles. Good to know: riser-mount is what suits a raked concert hall or lecture theatre — give us the rise and rake at schematic design and we confirm the stanchion and seat envelope for your section.

Yes — Quattro Modern is on the Hussey Fixed Seating schedule of Canoe contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can buy it direct without an open tender. (The Hussey Seatway chairs route as a direct factory quote instead.)

Choose Modern for contemporary rooms — universities, lecture halls, corporate auditoriums — where clean lines and a writing surface matter more than heritage character. It’s the only Quattro stanchion offered in die-cast aluminium (AA380, self-finishing — the stanchion is the finished end, so no wood end panels are needed) as well as tubular steel. Good to know: pick Traditional for a heritage retrofit, or Art for a front-of-house performing-arts hall.

Two stanchions — die-cast aluminium (AA380, self-finishing) or tubular steel — across seat widths of 19″–24″ (500–600 mm) and back pitches of 15° / 18° / 21°. Modern carries the full folding tablet-arm menu: T1 (panic-proof, stows under the armrest, 35″ minimum row spacing), T2m (laptop, 36″ spacing), and T2 (large laptop, 42″ spacing). Good to know: the tablet sets the room — give us the type early, because its stored-and-in-use envelope drives the minimum row-to-row spacing for the whole hall.

Yes — Quattro Traditional is on the Hussey Fixed Seating schedule of Canoe contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can buy it direct without an open tender. (The Hussey Seatway chairs route as a direct factory quote instead.)

Proportioned for heritage venues and older raked rooms, Traditional runs on a steel stanchion and carries the widest back-pitch menu in the collection — 12° / 15° / 18° / 21° — at a 17¼″ (440 mm) seat-pan height that preserves sightlines when it drops into an existing rake. It also accepts the decorative Nostalgia cast-iron aisle end when the room wants a period look. Good to know: the shallow 12° pitch is the one that most often lets Traditional reuse an existing riser layout without rebuilding the slope.

The TR-1 panic-proof tablet arm is exclusive to the Traditional stanchion — a fold-away writing surface with a clear-egress design for lecture and dual-use rooms; Traditional also takes the T1 tablet, across widths of 19″–24″ (500–600 mm). Good to know: for a room that needs the larger laptop tablets (T2 / T2m), Modern is the stanchion to spec instead.

Yes — Quattro Performance Polymer is on the Hussey Fixed Seating schedule of Canoe contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can buy it direct without an open tender. (The Hussey Seatway chairs route as a direct factory quote instead.)

Blow-moulded high-density polyethylene forms the back and seat as a single vandal-resistant, wipe-clean surface with no upholstery to wear or tear — a Soft Square 33″ (838 mm) back across widths of 19″–22″ (500–560 mm), in a full team-colour palette at standard pricing. The recessed back reveal accepts an optional insert (textured, louvered, or a custom pattern) if you want a design accent. Good to know: it’s the pick for high-traffic school and multipurpose rooms where a padded chair wouldn’t survive the abuse.

Both are the school-grade Quattro backs, on widths of 19″–22″ (500–560 mm). Choose Performance Polymer for the toughest, lowest-maintenance surface — all-polyethylene, no wood, wipe-clean. Choose Plyform when you want a warm maple-veneer wood look and LEED credit and can accept a wood back in the same high-traffic setting. Good to know: it’s durability-vs-warmth at a similar price band — Polymer takes a team-colour palette; Plyform brings the wood aesthetic.

Yes — Quattro Plyform is on the Hussey Fixed Seating schedule of Canoe contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can buy it direct without an open tender. (The Hussey Seatway chairs route as a direct factory quote instead.)

An 11-ply laminated hardwood back and seat — maple veneer, routed edges, urethane top coat — deliver a warm wood aesthetic at school-grade durability on the Traditional steel stanchion, across widths of 19″–22″ (500–560 mm). It’s built free of added urea-formaldehyde, which supports LEED Materials & Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality credits. Good to know: it’s the wood-look option that still takes the abuse of a school auditorium — if you don’t need the wood aesthetic, Performance Polymer is tougher still.

Plyform is manufactured free of added urea-formaldehyde, so its wood components avoid a common source of indoor off-gassing — supporting credits under LEED Materials & Resources (low-emitting materials) and Indoor Environmental Quality. It’s the Quattro back to lead with on a green-certified school or campus project. Good to know: bring your LEED consultant the environmental data sheet — TaLedi supplies it in the submittal package.

Yes — Quattro Nostalgia is on the Hussey Fixed Seating schedule of Canoe contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can buy it direct without an open tender. (The Hussey Seatway chairs route as a direct factory quote instead.)

A decorative cast-iron aisle-end stanchion that serves as both structure and integrated end panel — with an optional cast-in logo or motif and a contrast-colour accent on its raised features — over a Traditional-steel intermediate stanchion, finished with a solid-hardwood scroll armrest. It carries the Traditional back menu (Classic, Designer, Softside, Polymer, Plyform) at widths of 19″–24″ (500–600 mm). Good to know: it’s the period look for a historic cinema or heritage-theatre restoration — the cast aisle standard is the whole aesthetic.

Yes, with a design note — the decorative cast-iron end does not carry the flip-up / transfer-arm / removable-base hardware, so accessible row-ends are specified with standard steel end stanchions instead. Counts and dispersal still follow CSA B651 and BCBC §3.8 per Table 3.8.2.3 — we flag the accessible ends at schematic design so the cast-iron look carries everywhere except those positions.

No — Arts is a Hussey Seatway chair, and Canoe contract #081523-HSC covers Hussey Seating Company only. TaLedi supplies it on a direct quote from the Hussey Seatway factory.

Club is the premium tier — a higher backrest and 1″ (25 mm) thicker M4 foam in both seat and back for the deepest cushion; Lux sits mid, adding a sprung inner-seat core, auto-tipping armrests, and wood-reveal back options at the standard envelope; Max is the entry tier.

ASTM F851-87 self-rising mechanism returns every Quantum and Forte seat to the upright position the moment a row vacates — certified through 100,000 cycles, with the dual-action drop-impact pad tested another 100,000 cycles across four heights. The aisle clearance never depends on an attendant resetting a row.

Hussey +Camatic

Dual-Coded

EN 12727 Level 4 — exceeds AS 4438 Level 6 & BS 4875 Level 4

Quantum, Forte, and the broader Hussey +Camatic family clear the European stadium-seating standard at the highest level: 440 lb static seat load, 165 lb back load, 300,000-cycle fatigue, plus 220 lb arm-vertical and 200 lb arm-horizontal. NFPA 102 and ICC 300 stack underneath for Canadian compliance.

Beam alloy

6351T6

Hussey +Camatic

Clear-anodized aluminum beam — corrosion-free for the life of the venue

The beam itself is 6351-T6 (or 6005A-T5) clear-anodized aluminum extrusion with glass-filled nylon end caps and hot-dip galvanized brackets at 70 µm minimum coating thickness. The structural backbone never rusts, never rots, never becomes the failure point a coastal facility plans around.

Cycles certified

350K

Quattro Fixed

Whisper Quiet seat return — 350,000 cycles at 600 lb static

Dual-action return springs are certified through 350,000 cycles at 600 lb static load — with Gravity Fold available as a near-silent alternative for acoustic-sensitive rooms. Most venue chairs see fewer than 100 fold cycles per year. Quattro is engineered for thirty-five centuries of service before the spring approaches its rated life.

Per anchor (low-rise)

4,694lb

Quattro Fixed

Engineered anchor loads — the chair is no longer the weak point

Riser-mount anchor design transfers up to 4,694 lb per anchor (low-rise) and 4,934 lb (high-rise), both with safety factors applied. Riser-mount on solid wood is not recommended — the limit is documented in the submittal so the substrate decision is made before the schedule sets.

Quattro Extreme

Outdoor-Rated

Marine-grade outdoor build — for the Pacific coast

Cast aluminum stanchions resist galvanic corrosion in coastal installs. Marine-grade Naugahyde upholstery, Gore-Tex® thread, Okoumé marine plywood, vented seat pan, stainless steel hardware. Governed by the HSC Exterior Fixed Seating warranty — the inverse of the indoor schedule, calibrated for sun, salt, and freeze-thaw.

Hussey +Camatic

Quattro Fixed

Barrier-Free

Removable chair base — in-row companion seating, on demand

Quattro Art ships with a removable chair-base option: the seat lifts out of its mount, opening a wheelchair-accessible companion position mid-row without retrofit drilling. Pair with the Easy Access Arm (180° flip) and Transfer Arm End for a CSA B651-compliant accessibility suite that scales per event — no permanent capacity loss.

ID finishes

5

Quattro Fixed

Five identification finishes — including photo-luminescent

Seat numbers, row letters, donor plates — five factory finishes (Brushed Aluminum, Bronzed Anodized, Brass, Stainless Steel, Ecoglo). Ecoglo is photoluminescent: the row remains navigable at low or no ambient light. House staff stop drilling holes for retrofit signage; donor walls land in the architecture, not the punch list.

Per in-feed

10seats

Quattro Fixed

Quick-Link Power & Data — at the seat

120 V, one outlet plus one data port per chair, daisy-chained up to ten seats per in-feed. Lecture mode, distance-learning, broadcast-talent zones, hybrid corporate town halls — power lands in the row, not in a snake-pit of cables down the aisle. Compatible with cast and tubular-steel stanchion families.

Stadium credentials

SoFi · Wimbledon

Hussey +Camatic

Engineered to the same spec as SoFi Stadium and Centre Court

Hussey +Camatic seating wraps NFL stadiums, Premier League grounds, and Wimbledon Centre Court. The same engineering discipline — toggle system, beam tolerancing, materials stack — supplies every gymnasium retrofit in BC and Canada's North. Stadium-tier is the floor of the lineup, not the ceiling. Engineering elevated by design.

Structural warranty

Quattro Fixed

Limited Lifetime structural — the chair stays installed

Limited Lifetime warranty on structural standards, cast seat supports, dual-action return springs, and beam & brackets across all seven Quattro series. Five years on assemblies, finishes, and upholstery (three years on Extreme outdoor finishes). The chair installed for opening night is the chair installed for the building’s third concert hall season.

Recycled steel

45%

Quattro Fixed

LEED-credit ready out of the box

45% recycled steel (60/40 pre/post-consumer split). 95% recycled corrugated packaging. 100% recycled polypropylene packaging. Formaldehyde-free construction. IAQ pass grades — Formaldehyde ≤ 25 ppb, TVOC ≤ 0.25 mg/m³, Total Aldehydes ≤ 50 ppb. The LEED submittal is the datasheet.

EN 12727 Level 4 seating strength, ASTM F851-87 self-rising rated to 100,000 cycles, NFPA 102 fire rating, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 certification (Code HUSSE1). As a fixed chair on the Camatic Beam it sits outside the ESR-5033 platform scope, which covers the telescopic platforms.

The patented snap-in / snap-out cushion system makes a weather-worn pad a two-minute field swap, not a chair change, and the Exterior Fixed Seating warranty applies.

EN 12727 Level 4 seating strength, ASTM F851-87 self-rising rated to 100,000 cycles, NFPA 102, California TB 117-2013 upholstery flammability, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 certification (Code HUSSE1). As a fixed beam-mount chair it sits outside the ESR-5033 platform scope.

Beam-mount fixed installation, not retractable.

Clarity Sport inherits the Hussey +Camatic test programme — EN 12727 Level 4, ASTM F851-87 self-rising, NFPA 102, California TB 117-2013, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 certification (Code HUSSE1). As a fixed beam-mount chair it sits outside the ESR-5033 platform scope. Final tested values are confirmed at the Fall 2026 launch.

Yes — Quattro is Hussey Seating, on Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can purchase direct and skip the open-tender step.

The upholstered Quattro built for weather — marine-grade Naugahyde over a vented seat pan on Okuome marine plywood, sewn with Gore-Tex® thread and hung on a Modern cast-aluminium stanchion that will not corrode, with stainless hardware throughout. Full auditorium comfort where UV and rain govern the material choice, in 19″–24″ (500–600 mm) seat widths.

Independent load- and cycle-testing of the seat and back, NFPA 102 assembly-seating fire rating, and CWB W47.1 Div 3 welded-fabrication certification (Code HUSSE1). As a fixed chair it sits outside the ESR-5033 platform scope, which covers the telescopic platforms.

It’s the only Quattro stanchion offered in die-cast aluminium (AA380, self-finishing) as well as tubular steel, in 19″–24″ (500–600 mm) seat widths with back pitches of 15° / 18° / 21°.

The cast-aluminium standards, seat supports, beam and brackets, and dual-action seat-return springs carry a Limited Lifetime warranty, and Fusion is named in both the Interior and Exterior Fixed Seating warranties.

The details

Specification & compliance

Yes — MXP is Hussey Seating, on Canoe Procurement Group contract #081523-HSC, so a qualifying BC public buyer can purchase direct and skip the open-tender step.

MXP (wall-attached, indoor) is covered by the same ICC-ES ESR-5033 evaluation report as MAXAM and MAXAM+ — the first and only ESR in the telescopic seating industry — and backed by CWB W47.1 Div 3 welded-fabrication certification.

Renovation first — 80%+ of MXP installations replace an existing platform, so the quick-changeover design gets the venue back to revenue faster. Quantum and Forte mount directly, and MXP shares the MAXAM+ chair menu on a single platform investment.

TaLedi services the platform regionally across BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut — one relationship through the working life of the system, so an arena that can’t go dark isn’t waiting on a manufacturer call overseas.

Chocolate Fundraiser

Single-origin chocolate.
From a cooperative in northern Peru.

In partnership with Scrap & Chocolates, a woman-led family maker in Piura, northern Peru, TaLedi sources bean-to-bar chocolate made from cacao grown by smallholder farmers across the region. Each bar is single-origin — the flavour and the story of one growing zone.

Their bars have taken Gold, Silver, and Bronze at the International Chocolate Awards, retail at a premium, and give a school or club a fundraising product people actually want to buy.

A discreet program — offered as an inclusion on qualifying orders, by conversation. Not a public retail listing.

The partner

Scrap & Chocolates

A woman-led family chocolate maker based in Piura, northern Peru, led by master chocolatier Carmen Adrianzen. They work bean-to-bar — roasting, refining, and moulding in small batches to bring out the distinct flavour of each Piura growing zone — on three principles: handmade, made with love, and honouring the farmer's work. Their craft is backed by the Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT, and their bars have won medals at the International Chocolate Awards, nationally and internationally.

Instagram @scrap_chocolates

The source

Single-origin cacao from Piura

The cacao comes from smallholder growers across the Piura region — La Quemazón, Platanal Bajo, Palo Blanco, La Pareja, Malingas, and more. Every bar is single-origin: made from one zone's beans, so the flavour carries the character of that specific place and the family who farmed it. Since 2019, through its Semillas de Chocolate project, Scrap & Chocolates has worked to support rural women in cacao and pass the craft forward.

One origin. One story per bar.

How it works

From purchase to payback.

STEP 01

Place a qualifying order

When your venue orders qualifying seating, award-winning chocolate comes along with it — built into the deal as fundraising inventory, at no separate cost to you.

STEP 02

Receive fundraising inventory

Your bars show up ready to sell — the quantity and the flavour mix worked out together up front, so you get a line-up your community will love.

STEP 03

Your community sells at retail

Students, members, and supporters sell the bars at retail. It's a premium product with real medals behind it — the kind of thing people are genuinely happy to buy.

STEP 04

Recapture your spend

The proceeds come back to offset part of what you spent on the seating — a friendly way to soften the cost of the whole project. We'll walk through the numbers with you privately.

Program details are handled privately, deal by deal — this page is a credibility reference, not a public offer.

Sponsorship & Signage

Let a sponsor pay for your seats.

The seating system is built with high-visibility surfaces — end curtains, plates, banners, and signage that face a full house. The manufacturer can produce them with a sponsor's branding. You pay the product cost; the sponsor pays for the exposure — and that's usually worth far more than the placement costs to build.

Bleacher End

Sponsored End Curtain

The end of a telescopic bleacher is prime, full-height ad space. The manufacturer can print it with a sponsor's logo.

Seats & Armrest Caps

Donor Plates

Named plates on seats or armrest caps — a classic "buy-a-seat" donor campaign.

Temporary & Semi-Permanent

Media-Platform Banners

Sponsor banners mounted on media platforms — swappable per season or event.

Part of the Package

Sure-Step Signage

Step-tread signage is part of the total package — high-traffic surface a sponsor can own.

Part of the Package

Court Signage

Courtside signage included in the total package — visible to every spectator and on broadcast.

Spec Seating

Logoed Spec Seats

Spec seats can carry a logo or a sponsor name moulded or printed in.

Solid Wood

Engraved Wooden Armrest

The wooden armrest can be engraved with a donor's name or a sponsor's mark — a warm, lasting keepsake that turns a seat into a personal tribute.

How it works

The sponsor pays the premium.

STEP 01

Choose your surfaces

We look at your venue together and pick the surfaces that make sense — the ones a full house will actually see.

STEP 02

We quote the build cost

You get a straight quote for what each branded surface costs to produce — no guesswork, just the real build number.

STEP 03

Sell the placement to a sponsor

You sell the spot to a local sponsor who wants the exposure. They're paying for visibility in front of a full house — usually well above what it cost to build.

STEP 04

Keep the difference

The gap between what the sponsor pays and what the surface cost is yours to keep — money that comes straight back toward your seating investment.

Recapture your investment.

Ask Scott how the fundraising and sponsorship programs could work for your venue — handled privately.

Roughly a third of Canada’s land mass. Four building codes. Multiple language groups. Several dozen communities accessible only by sealift, winter road, or air. Sealift deadlines and winter road windows aren’t a logistics exotic — they’re how we schedule.

ICC-ES Evaluation Report

The manufacturer

190 years of Hussey. Plus a modern arena lineup, now in territory.

Hussey traces to 1835 — but it started as the Hussey Plow Company, a North Berwick, Maine plow maker. It moved into spectator seating in 1931 and telescopic seating in 1952, and has led the telescopic market from that same Maine factory ever since. The bleachers, audience chairs, and arena platforms that fill North American gymnasiums, theatres, and stadiums largely come from there.

1835

ICC-ES structural certification. 30-year service life. Limited Lifetime warranty on fixed seating; 10-year structural understructure on MAXAM and MAXAM+; a single 5-year whole-product guarantee on Seatway TP. That’s the manufacturer side of the relationship.

The Hussey +Camatic partnership

In 2023, the lineup expanded through the Hussey +Camatic partnership — the Australian beam-mount arena chair family behind SoFi Stadium and Wimbledon. For our territory, that changed what was buyable overnight.

Quantum, Forte, Evoke, Activa, Clarity Sport — none of the family shipped through a Canadian dealer before the partnership. Quantum and Forte ship today; the rest of the family lands Fall 2026 — on a Canadian contract, with one phone number for BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut.

The TaLedi side of the relationship

The Hussey promise is only as durable as the dealer. If the distributor is a call-centre with a rotating account manager, the promise breaks at the handoff. If it’s a one-person operation with a direct line to the factory and a Factory-Certified installation partner on the ground, the promise holds.

That’s the model. One principal. One phone number. One continuous relationship from the first discovery meeting through the twentieth-year service visit.

Three venue paths

The product line, mapped to how the space gets used.

Every TaLedi project starts from the venue, not the catalogue. Three routes cover the work — each one a full page on this site.

01 · Gymnasium

School & community gyms

MAXAM telescopic for the standard build, MAXAM+ when the program is more demanding — full-size arenas, varsity programs, performing-arts crossover. Quattro for fixed sideline seating. One floor handles assemblies, PE, athletics, and graduation.

02 · Theatre, Auditorium & Worship

Performance & assembly

Hussey Seatway TP and MAXAM+ retractable platforms for rooms that flex, paired with the Quattro Collection and Hussey +Camatic fixed seating for permanent theatres, lecture halls, and worship. One door for assemblies, performances, and convocations — retractable where the floor must clear, fixed where it doesn’t.

03 · Stadium & Arena

Large-venue spectator seating

MAXAM+ telescopic plus the Hussey +Camatic beam-mount chairs — Quantum, Forte, Evoke, Activa, Clarity Sport. The lineup behind SoFi Stadium and Wimbledon. Quantum and Forte shipping now; the rest of the family lands Fall 2026.

Engineered three ways

The system across the three audiences that judge it.

A spectator seating system gets evaluated three times in its life — by the inspector who signs off the install, by the people who operate it daily, and by the facility budget over a 25-year cycle. Hussey is engineered for all three.

01

Engineered Safety

The mechanics that pass inspection.

The mechanical answer to the question every inspector, insurer, and code official asks before signing off — published, tested, and referenced. ICC-ES ESR-5033 on the structural side. CWB W47.1 Div 3 (Code HUSSE1) on the welding. Seismic PE stamp letters on file before the submittal package goes out.

02

Built for the Operator

The system in daily operation.

The custodian’s view. The events manager’s view. The rec coordinator’s view. The people opening, closing, cleaning, and resetting the system on a working day — not specifying it on a procurement form. Wireless RFID power pendants. Snap-in cushion replacement — no chair removal. Silent deployment in performing-arts halls.

03

Built for the Facility

The system over a 25-year cycle.

The total-cost-of-ownership view. What the system demands of the building and the facilities budget over the life of the install — and what it doesn’t. Lubrication-free for life. In-territory service from BC to Baffin Island. OEM parts from the Maine factory in original configuration.

Procurement · how to engage

The procurement should not be the hard part.

Canoe Procurement Group cooperative contract #081523-HSC is the competitive purchasing mechanism already in use across Canadian municipalities, school districts, post-secondary institutions, and health authorities. It satisfies three-quote requirements. It produces the audit paper trail your policy requires. It carries no protest risk — because it isn’t a tender.

The TaLedi difference

  • One principal, one phone number, one continuous relationship.
  • Same time zone as the project. Same language as the tender. Same sightline as the jobsite.
  • Sealift deadlines and winter road windows aren’t a logistics exotic — they’re how we schedule.
